11 Months

Almost one years old!!!  What random things we’ve been up to this month.

Hanging out in lumberyards because that’s what we do for fun.  Weird, I know.blog - 01

It’s like a still shot from the movie “Deer Hunter”, if Deer Hunter was about babies.

This guy love love loves to read.  Thank the sweet lord above because it’s the only time he is quiet or not whining or tugging at me or trying to knock something over or pulling on power cords or terrorizing the cat.  Here he is in his reading nook with some good bed head.

blog - 02Sometimes he straight up chillaxes + lays back with a good read.  Wish I had those moments.  Those days are in my faraway misty past of days long ago.  Cry.blog - 03

Whenever the weather outside is decent (basically when it’s not raining) no matter what we have planned for the day I always take Langdon in the front yard to get some fresh air.  Otherwise he is a caged Tasmanian Devil + ain’t nobody want to be around that.Screen Shot 2015-03-11 at 10.17.10 PM

Look how happy my naturalist is to be breathing fresh air!blog - 05

I put him in his “outside” outfit because he GOES TO TOWN.  He gets DIRTY.  I made the mistake of giving him a spoon the other day to dig with + I caught him scooping up dirt + eating it like ice cream.  Ick.  You live + you learn.

Is Langdon doing yoga Triangle pose?  No, he picks up rocks, twigs, leaves + throws them behind his back over + over + over again with a really straight face.  Which is awesome for me because I can just space out – unless he decides to eat a pebble.  Then it’s game on.blog - 06

One day Langdon was wearing his shearling denim jacket that my buddy Debbie gave to him with his Canadian pjs.  He looked like a full on Canuck.  So I took some pictures for her.blog - 08

Where did he learn to laugh like this?  Me.  Technically it’s more of a guffaw.blog - 09

Looking a bit coy.  This is one of my favorite pictures of Langdon.blog - 10

Ready for Easter!  Langdon really loved this headband, but then he started chewing it + I was like uhnoyoudon’tneedthat.blog - 11

Well folks, here we have it.  11 months old.11months

He was not having it + that was the best picture I could get.  I don’t know what people are saying about the “terrible twos” because this baby has been having blow out tantrums at 11 months.  Changing clothes?  Drama.  Not letting him grab my fork?  Drama.  Moving him from one room to another?  Drama.  What happened to my sweet blob of a baby?  Who is this hellion wearing a pair of big ol’ sassy pants???  Anyways wish me luck, folks.  The next 18 years are going to be interesting…
