Cowboy on Set
Who’s that cowboy on set?! Paparazzi shots of Jeff at work on his new show The Flash!!!
Currently, Jeff is working as key set costumer (or costume set supervisor as they say in Canada Land) on the pilot of CW’s new TV show The Flash. For those of you who are new to How’s It Going Eh, Jeff + I both work in the film industry as costumers. That’s how we first met, y’all – on a movie set. Set costumers take care of the actors, stunts or background during shooting. We are responsible for how they look (clean? dirty? ripped? bloody?) + the continuity on set during filming.
HAHAHA!!!! There’s Jeff the cowboy + Grant Gustin, the lead who plays Flash.
MUST. TWIRL. MOUSTACHE. Jeff is very intensely concentrating on his very important task at hand.
The next series of shots shows an example of “aging” or “dusting down”. Say your character jumped out of a moving vehicle, got dumped in a ditch, was in a fight, who knows what kind of mayhem. Costumers will dust fake dirt powder on the clothing to give the effect of said appropriate situation.
Thanks to Nigel Horsley for the wonderful shots!!! Lucky me, now I have great memories of my husband in action at work! Click here for a link to Nigel Horsley’s flickr account with more photos from The Flash!
