Hoard Much???

Hoard much? Because we do!!! Jeff has pockets of stuff hoarded in all corners of Western Canada! Time to finally make use of some of it!
We are sub-leasing our house in Vancouver furnished. The condo we are renting right now in Alberta is unfurnished. What to do? Well, start rifling through Jeff’s collection of stuff + we are bound to put something together!
On our drive out to the 40 foot shipping container in Exshaw, we passed a family of mule deer. Que lindas!!!! Hello luvvies!!
This is our 3rd year renting this shipping container! I am bound + determined to get RID of it!!!!! It’s a deal at 40 feet, but that doesn’t give an excuse to own 40 feet worth of stuff that we only see in the summertime! Oh + don’t you worry – all this “stuff” was accumulated pre-Shelli!!! Because I am having NONE OF IT!
Here we are filling both of our cars….doesn’t it look like so much fun?!
We pulled out a dining room set, dresser drawers, vintage lamps, you name it. Jeff whittled his way to the back + as y’all can see….THAT’S A HELL OF A LOT OF STUFF!!!
Jeff forced me to squeeze back there + retrieve something that he apparently he HAD to get into the condo. I am filled with joy! Can you tell?
Work gloves off, dolly cart stowed, bungee cords ahoy!!! Back on the road!!! At least the shipping container is blessed underneath the watchful eye of Heart Mountain!!!
A quick stop to make sure everything was tightened up!
Man, the Canadian Rockies are the tops, man. I hope I don’t get eaten by a bear this summer.
But wait, did you think our day was over yet??? Ho ho hoooo nooooooo. A stop by Jeff’s trailer! YES Jeff has a trailer as well!!!! Lord save me!!!
Don’t mind the mess, this picture was from last summer. Oh heck, what am I saying, there’s no helping this picture. I hate this trailer!
The trailer is on Jeff’s buddy’s ranch (another guardian angel) + the horses were watching us bemusedly haul things from the trailer to our cars.
Horse #1: Gurrrrl, turn back now!
Horse #2: That ain’t right!
We didn’t get home until 10:30pm that night! Pictures to come of some of the gems we unearthed from the trailer! See ya next time!!!
Oh that is just a hoarder paradise sister! Has he watched the show? Does he think it is better that it is all organized? Because I do! Very impressed with the organizing, that took work in itself.
This would be my reasoning:
“This is not just “stuff”, these are things that can help us, and others. And besides….I have it all organized, not like those crazy hoarders…they just pile stuff. Look around…organized”
That’s EXACTLY how he thinks!!! How did you know?!?! My husband most likely thinks to himself, “If it’s stashed away in an orderly fashion, then I’m not like those people on tv!!!” Nope, sorry Jeff – it’s still hoarding!!!
I have no words except that I love the expression on your face! Priceless. I don’t know how you do it!
I don’t know how I do it either! It’s really time consuming + exhausting!!!! I think it’s because I’m a costumer + I’m used to being surrounded by enormous amounts of stock + bins of sewing supplies, kit supplies, tools, etc.
It all looks a bit overwhelming. At least there is semblance of order. 😉
That is the BEST way to go shopping! 🙂
True – it’s like free shopping! You’re so positive!!!!
Yup Yip Yep, we all feel ur pain, Nan,
the look on ur face in the back of the
container is indeed priceless, but in
essence ur a mini-hoarder yourself so
i all plays out well,…hopefully U will be
cranking up ur eBay, soon, i just sold
4 pairs of sneakers,..hoot-hoot, Take
Care, luv U, miss U, Dad’s
Nice job dad! I know. I need to move all this inventory!!!
Holy bin of stuff! You could secretly Craiglist a handful of items until it’s whittled down 😉
I know – I’m currently trying to figure out a master plan!!! It’s gotta go!!!!
I thought i’m a hoarder but holy crap, ur hubs is a hoarderER!
Yup! If anyone feels bad about the stuff in their house, they should visit my blog + then they’ll be like, “We live like the Amish!!!”.
Wait, Jeff has a MATRIX?!!
Oh also, is it wrong that I’m really trying to zoom in on the pictures to see all of Jeff’s good stuff? (Key words I said “good stuff” instead of hoarded junk like any normal rational human.
The Toyota Matrix is like the Official Car of Canada. I’ve never seen so many before in my life! And no there’s nothing wrong with trying to scope out the good stuff because gurrrrrrl, it’s in there!!! It’s serrrrious!!!
