Vancouver Christmas Market 2013
Merry Christmas Eve!!! Jeff + I went to the Christmas Market today to fill up on holiday happiness!
The admission fee for the Vancouver Christmas Market during the day is cheap! $3 per person! But let me tell you another savings tip – if you go during the day, go to their website, click on the “Ticket + Passes” + find their 2 For 1 “Bring a Friend” Lunch Pass. Then it’s a $3 admission for two people! Booyah!!!!
It’s nice to start off walking around with a mug full of warm, spiced mulled cider!

Okay, is it just me or is this chocolate advertisement just WRONG????!!!
There is SO MUCH FOOD at the Christmas Market + it is all about pigging out!!! Everyone walks around while munching on something! My lunch was a yummy bratwurst with sauerkraut + mustard!
Jeff was on a mission after seeing people gorging on ham on the bone like many Vikings. That’ss allota ham…
I think it was the most popular food item at the market! While Jeff was eating, people were eyeing his ham bone, drooling.
We went indoors to look at more ornaments.
This guy’s hat says, “Merry Christmas, Eh!”. HAHAHAA!!!

The carousel is muy popular!
I was so excited – I don’t remember the last time I had ridden on one!

Woohoo!!! I forgot how fun carousels were! Jeff was also pretty pleased as you can see in the photo. And the guy next to him was still taking carousel selfies!!!
After the ride, I indulged in a belgian waffle with whipped cream + cherries!!! Decadent! Hehehe.
After looking at so many Christmas decorations, eating a ton + waiting in a lot of lines, we were over it. Bye, bye Christmas Market, until next year!
We took the train home, which is good times. I love taking the train in Vancouver!
Here’s the little ornament we bought today. It’s going to be our new tradition to get one ornament from the Christmas Market every year!

Jeff’s cousin lives in Poland + gave us a beautiful bowl for a wedding gift + I LOVE IT!!! It’s gorgeous stuff!
