Lululemon Outlet – Vancouver CLOSED

LULULEMON OUTLET, Y’ALL!!!!  Vancouver’s pride + joy!!!!  Indulge!

 

NOTE:  VANCOUVER FACTORY OUTLET IS CLOSED!!!  I recently drove to the outlet location (3/18/14) + much to my dismay, it has closed down.  The company made a statement, “Lululemon has decided to change the outlet strategy, choosing to not have outlets in major urban centres.”.  LAME!!!  Apparently the closest outlet to Vancouver is in Burlington, Washington.  But read on + let us mourn + pay respect to wonders that was once the Vancouver Lululemon Factory Outlet.  RIP.

 

 

Lululemon’s outlet warehouse is for sure on the MUST VISIT list when in Vancouver.  Youwannaknowwhy????  Because Lululemon is da bomb!!!!  Click here to read about my first Lululemon Outlet experience.  One word: heavenly.

Everyone I know in Los Angeles who is into Lululemon is REALLY INTO LULULEMON.  For example, they froth at the mouth + their pupils dilate when they talk about Lululemon. 

Perchance you aren’t quite acquainted with Lululemon????  Well, I shall entrance you with a story sprinkled with magic + laced with smiles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lululemon is an athletic apparel company that started in Vancouver due to the increased need for female athletic wear in 1998, with the opening of it’s first store in Kitsilano.  Their greatness lies in their constant research in technical athletic textiles that feel + look amazing!  Their fabrics will suck you + tuck you in!  Don’t go under the knife, ladies – git yo’selves some Lululemon!  I swear!  I’ve drank the Kool-Aid + I love it!

Plus, the way they market themselves as a “lifestyle” brand is genius.  Their commitment to a healthy lifestyle + getting outside + being active is addictive!  All their retail staff are considered “educators” + are trained to answer questions about their products – which they 200% stand behind!  Love it!!!

So my sister has become somewhat of an avid yoga junkie.  If you live in Los Angeles it’s pretty much required that you try yoga at least once or twice. Just kidding, but sort of not kidding.

The holy grail!!!!!  I’ve found it!!!!!!!!  You may be thinking I’ve lost the majority of my marbles, but I’m telling you people – this sign was like a ray of salvation!!!!  That’s because at Lululemon, shorts usually retail for around $50!  There were ladies in the outlet walking around with 8 pairs of shorts!  Mania!!!!  For real!

My mom had never been to a Lululemon before + she was like, “Hmmmm….aha…..I seeeeee…..”.  She was slooooowly sipping on the Kool-Aid as well!  MWA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was zany, insane packed due to the fact that there were last minute shoppers before the holidays!

And it was funny because customers kept stopping the sales girls + asking, “Are you a size 4?”.  Then they would visually look them up + down.  Then they would say, “Yes.  You look like the same size as so + so (insert name).  Can you fit this shirt?”.  And the poor sales girl would act as fit model for their holiday shopping.

My teeny little mom popped her head out of the dressing room + yelled, “HEY DOES THIS LOOK GOOD ON ME, GIRLS????!!!!!!!”.  See her body language gesturing, “Well????!!  Helloooooo???!!!!  What do you think???!!!!”.

GANGSTA!!!!!!  My mom was looking like the perfect Mama-san to a modern day Tokyo Yakuza family!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mom came out the victor that day at the Lululemon Factory Outlet!!!  She scored some major deals – probably $200 worth of savings!  I snatched myself a couple pairs of shorts, but my yogi sister came out empty handed!  It’s a hit or miss at the outlet store – but always worth a visit!  You never know what kind of scores you’ll find!!!!!
