Goodbye Daddy!!!

Langdon’s dad left sunny Vancouver for rainy Vancouver.  Aaaaah such is life…

Jeff took Langdon outside as much as possible to enjoy the warmth of the sun + the soft Southern California breeze.  We are trying to soak it in to fill up our little banks before we return to the wet, rainy weather in Vancouver.

Late afternoon hike behind my house.  The sun was glowing amber!  I’ve missed the oak trees + chaparral so much.  We used to climb oak trees + collect acorns as children.  I hope Langdon’s childhood will be filled with a love of nature!

We found a tucked away hammock.  Langdon loved swaying + staring at the branches + leaves above his head.

It was really special walking Langdon through the trees that I used to play + run amongst.

The next day Langdon fell asleep in the car on the drive into Hollywood + his cheeks were holding up his entire head.

Why the field trip to Hollywood?  The Muji Store!!!!

We are obsessed with Muji!!!  Super simple, streamlined Japanese products.

On Jeff’s last day with his son.  Sad day.

Ever since New Years Langdon has caught cold.  And in general has become more willful, stubborn + daily tries to test boundaries.

Today he took an oatmeal + blueberry bath.  Fun times!!!  Cleanup was a situation.

Langdon keeps my entire family very, very busy!  There was a lot of crying going on in the house today!  Teething?  Cold symptoms?  Cognitive leap?  Who knows???!!!  Well, we miss daddy very much but will be reunited with him next month!!!
