Megu Luvs Vintage
If you’re my cat – you’ve got to love vintage. There’s no other choice.
This is going to be a short post because I’m in the organizing zone + once I’m there – THERE’S NO LOOKING BACK!!!! I got to get my OCD on!!!! Jeff + I went on some adventures over the weekend, but I can’t get into that right now because it’s going to take too long. But soon…
Anyways, life in Calgary/Black Diamond/Southern Alberta has been wet + soggy! Many peeps have been saying that it’s been an unusually wet summer. There’s been flooding, thunderstorms, lightning + dumping rain! Apparently as I write, lights have gone out on the main highway. Eeek. But thankfully it’s been beautifully green + lush! Here’s a pic from my morning run.
It’s going crazy outside right now, y’all. The wind is tearing it up! It’s kind of freaking me out! This Los Angeles girl is not used to weather!
Okay, tangent aside – Megu (who’s been feeling better!) is my little vintage mascot. She’s got to be – she lives in a world of lots + lots of old stuff. As we are always loading + unloading in + out of the house, Megu is such a good girl + never ventures outside! Look at her right at the door!
Precious kitty! We are lucky in that way. No fears of her dashing out the door or trying to wrangle her + shutting her in the bathroom! Here she is in the thick of it all.
No wonder the poor thing was sick. Jeff + I are perpetually on the go, moving things around, making a racket + it’s changing constantly!

That is an example of 1/4 of the hoard. I’ve got to weed out the good from the bad. Ohhh, what a life I lead…
Megu has been curiously inspecting. She’s never bored, that’s for sure! And neither am I, for that matter! Megu loves maxi dresses!

Thanks for coming by! Megu is such an indoor cat, I stopped putting a collar on her! But that is a great idea! Cats need more fashion accessories!!! The pet world is all about the dogs + there’s such a sad selection for felines!

MEGUUUUUUUUUUU! Yay for a kitty who’s feeling better. It’s important for a cat to look dapper, I feel. Sammy, for example, is always dashing in his black fur and white bow tie spot under his chin. 🙂 That’s admittedly a lot of vintage you’ve got going on…but you should see how many retro orange-colored kitchen accessories I have.
