Hockey Lockout Over – Time to Sing???
Huzzah Canucks!!! Celebrate! After a 113-day lockout, hockey is back on the ice!!!!
Being a valley girl from Southern California, I’m trying to educate myself about my new country’s beloved past time! What better way to familiarize myself with the sport than with 2010’s, “Score: A Hockey Musical”!
Yeah, no joke. BELIEVE IT. A HOCKEY MUSICAL. I know, I had to slap myself a couple times to make sure what I was seeing was real. That’s how much Canucks lurve their hockey! Starring beloved Oliva Newtown-John, no less!!!! Oh Olivia….why????!!!! And no, your eyes do not deceive you! On the bottom left hand corner of the promo is the ridiculously airbrushed Canadian National Treasure, Nelly Furtado looking like a 1980’s Eurasian version of herself! Yikes!

That was an…interesting…movie. I’m no hockey fan though, so I just thought it was campy. I know there were some people who thought it was sacrilegious. 🙂
Totally campy!!! We turned on TV during the holidays + I couldn’t believe it! But I could only watch it for 20 minutes, otherwise I would have thrown the monitor across the room.
