Angeleno Family Visit to Vancouver!!!!!
Yahoo!!!!! Tomorrow my mom + big sis are arriving in Vancouver from Los Angeles for a visit!!!!
Jeff + I decided not to fly down to Los Angeles for Christmas for reasons I will reveal later! So last minute, my mom + Ashley are coming up to us! I’m so excited, since none of my family have seen the house since we moved! Dad is too much of a sun worshiper to make the trip this winter since he’s familiar with Vancouver weather having worked here in the past. Shaka, Dads!!!!
Well, we’ll have a break from trying to video chat with moms for a little while! Mom is pretty technologically savvy for a senior citizen!
But she is still struggling with the video chat thing! I was laughing as she was trying to figure it all out + had to get a picture.
Aren’t I a sweet daughter, finding amusement in my mother’s confusion??? Yeah, + I am wearing a hat indoors. It’s that cold in my house!!!!
GUESS WHO ELSE IS COMING TO VANCOUVER???!!!! Not to visit, but to STAY!!!! My Megumi!!!! Finally reunited!!!!
Isn’t she a pretty pretty princess????!!!!! My mom set her up with a veterinarian appointment + signed certificate of perfect health for customs. I’m crossing my fingers that everything goes well!!! I can’t wait for her to get settled into her new home!

I find it amusing that you’re wearing a hat inside your house. Should I mention that you’re living in one of the mildest climates in Canada (Victoria is warmer)? 😉 You should try a winter in Montreal. It’s like having the humidity of Vancouver plus the cold of Winnipeg. 😦 You’ll get acclimatized soon enough. AND you have your sweet kitty to keep you warm! I know, how sincere coming from someone who hates the cold and is overdosing on Vitamin D.
Haha! I know! Actually, I have gotten more used to the cold! I’ve even got a thicker skin than my Canadian husband now! Later this week it’ll be 77 degrees Fahrenheit in Los Angeles. Sniff. Soak up some sun (with lots of sunscreen!) for me!!!!!
