Good-bye, Valentine

Jeff left to go back home to Vancouver today. Yes, we are married + still live apart. Yes, we STILL haven’t turned in our immigration paperwork. Yes, I know, I know whatarewewaitingfor. I’ll tell you what: immigration paperwork sucks big time. That’s what.
We have so much fun each moment we are together. Except for the moments when I want to throw his Iphone out of a moving vehicle or through a plate glass window.
I’m melancholy. Somber. Despondent, y’all. Friends at work were calling me “Sad Sack” today because of my mopey body language + droopy face. They are not looking forward to being stuck with me for the next couple of weeks. I would have to agree with them.
Did you all have a nice Valentine’s Day??? Mine was perfection. I won’t divulge in all the details, but Jeff cut this comic strip out of the newspaper + displayed it along with some presents:
The best part of this scenario is the fact that I had already seen this comic strip in the Sunday papers before he gave it to me + when I saw it I thought, “Wow, this is exactly like Jeff + I.”. I’m glad we both know where we stand in our relationship. I miss my nutty Valentine.
Tour true Valentine’s Day will come soon at Vancouver!
